Real de Catorce – One day

Magical town with the charm of a ghost town. Dating from 1778, Real has remained a witness to the various struggles of Mexico, where the 19th century air can still be breath from the moment you enter the Ogarrio tunnel up to visit to the miraculous statue of St. Francis of Asis.

The tours lasts 12 hours.
Cost $2,500 per person with only 2 persons; $2,350 per person with 3 persons and $ 2,100 with a minimum of 4 persons. Includes transportation, guided tour of the town, entrance fees, insurance and guide.

Magical Desert From Real De Catorce Adventure – Two Days / One Night

After crossing the San Luis plateau, land of cactus and palms,  and just before we arrive at the Ogarrio tunnel (which gives way to the magical town) we visit the old La Luz mine. We register at our hotel and as we board our Willy jeep, the adventure begins as we head to the desert where we can admire the local flora and we visit the ruins of the abandoned mine Purisima.  Afternoon free. Next day after breakfast, we wander in  the magical town, among ruins, colonial and Porfirian buildings, we visit the main attractions of the place including the Purísima Concepción Church, where the miraculous image of St. Francisco de Asis is venerated. Overnight in Real de Catorce.  Free time for lunch and to shop for local crafts.  Well worth the trip!

Cost $ 5,900 pesos per person with 2 persons; $5,700 per person with 3 persons; $ 5,500 per person with 4 persons.  Includes transportation from SLP in tourist van, one night accommodation in 3 * hotel in double occupancy with breakfast, Willy jeep ride, entrance fees, guide and insurance. Departure at 7:30 hrs, return to San Luis Potosi the next day at 7:00pm.
